Fill The Heavens – 1

An excerpt of my book – 1 of 3

Title: Fill The Heavens

There is an office vacancy in Heaven that was filled by the anointed cherub Lucifer. He had become proud and rebelled against God, and he was hurled to the ground with a third of the angels. Now, the vacancy must be filled up to overflow by true worshipers, to worship God in spirit and truth.

What was so important about this office, this job so to speak?  The answer is, WORSHIP!

John 4:23-24  –  23. “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Exodus 34:13-14  – 13 But you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images 14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),

Before Victory is Worship!

Judges 7:15-18  –  15 And so it was, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel, and said, “Arise, for the Lord has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand.” 16 Then he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers. 17 And he said to them, “Look at me and do likewise; watch, and when I come to the edge of the camp you shall do as I do: 18 When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you also blow the trumpets on every side of the whole camp, and say, ‘The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!’”

Judges 7:20-22  –  20 Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” 21 And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. 22 When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath.

Taking back the Heavens!

The “church” of God is called to Worship!  The job of the “church” is to take up that vacancy in Heaven.  We are called to have dominion!

Psalm 8:1-6 –  O Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth,
Who have set Your glory above the heavens!

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,

Fill the void church!  And we will have victory!

In The Name of Jesus. Amen.

The ugliest thing on earth

PRIDE

Pride promotes strife, and envy (among other things) and is of the world.  Pride will harden hearts, and make way to selfishness.  Pride will cloud the recesses of the mind where logic and wisdom have been shut out.  Thus, the decisions of one operating in such an ugly spirit, will indeed become a fool in the sight of God.  For the pride of heart deceives the mind/soul.  But, the humble of heart have a sound mind.

Jesus said:

20. And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22. thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”  ~  Mark 7:20-23

Pride promotes strife and envy.  And that’s where wars and fights come from.  The world thrives in wars and fights.  Every day it’s confirmed in the news reports.

Pride will cause a person to fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.  And being puffed up with pride they fall into the same condemnation of the devil.  (see, 1 Timothy 3:5-7)

Many a kingdom has fallen due to pride.  As well as many nations, peoples, and families. Pride destroys.

The FIRST of seven things that God hates is pride. (see, Proverbs 6:16-19)

Pride is what brought the devil down!  Pride is where he operates in all that is evil.  Pride hardens hearts, clouds minds and souls.  Pride will keep a person from being a peacemaker and will promote strife instead.  Pride loves the ways of the world, and hates what is good.

A proud look is disgusting!  It’s a look of one who is their own god, and will not submit to the way of God.  It’s not surprising that God hates pride so much.

~ Thank God, we’re not of the world! ~

A message to the church:  Let not pride be named among you.  Strivings, jealously, envies are all devices of the devil.  Submitting to pride is evil and goes before a fall.  Be mindful, and guard your hearts with all your might!

Brothers and sisters in Christ, build each other up and hold fast to the Truth! Let the fruit of the Holy Spirit operate in your lives, to the sanctifying of your souls.  Be a peacemaker and be found as one who makes peace and builds relationships.  Encourage one another, and let love be your foundation.  Build yourself up in Christ, and keep your eyes on HIM.  The Lord is your strength.  You can do all things through Christ!

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:13

May the peace of GOD rule in your hearts!

In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

A smile goes a long way

The cares of the world are piling up, like the autumn leaves.  And we try so hard to keep them in a nice pile; but it takes just a breeze (an incident) to blow them in so many different directions.  Our cares are not for us to bear alone.

So many people have the cares of this life and the burdens of it…weighing heavy on their shoulders.  And most have forgotten to smile and enjoy the good things in life…to cast our cares on the Lord.  He cares for us.

Brighten someones day and smile!  You’ll see their face light up and a change in their posture.  And you’ll find your burdens have lightened too.

Anyone who has a deficit; an insufficiency in anything, is considered poor.

Proverbs 14:21 – He who despises his neighbor sins; But he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Here’s wishing you happiness as you put on your smile, and brighten someones day!!  You will feel better too. 🙂

PS. There are some people that might not smile back.  And it’s those people, that need it the most!!  Be encouraged, and be happy.

Words are powerful

The whole “world” knows words are powerful…they use them everyday to announce the winds of change.  The “world” uses words to start new ideologies.  Worldly leaders use words to engage people to follow after the dictates of their own heart.  A heart that is not subjected to the law of God, (which was laid down for our edification)…will by no means lead a country to liberty and moral standing in the sight of Righteousness.

Jude 16-19

Apostates Predicted

16. These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18. how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Church! We are called to a higher standard.

James 1:17-18

17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Ephesians 5:1 – Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

In The History of Creation, found in the Book of Genesis in the first chapter… count how many times “God said”;  and it was so.  I implore you to go here and count the times that God “said” and “it was so.”  https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=God+said&qs_version=NKJV

“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.”  God created us in His Own image and likeness.  We need to have the mind of Christ!  Don’t we call ourselves, Christians??

Genesis 1:28  –  We are called to have dominion people!!

28. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

When the “world” speaks… do NOT agree with it! It’s very irresponsible and unreasonable to agree with the ways of the world.  We have been called out of it, to be ambassadors for Christ, and to advance His will and His kingdom.  Christ is King and we are His kings and priests to do His Word!

Church of the Living God! Release the Word of Truth!!  Jesus has given us the power to speak the Word and He will confirm it with signs following!  Remember, it’s not by might nor by our will or power…but it’s by His Spirit.  God is Spirit and His Word is both Spirit and Truth.  Jesus is the Word and all things consist and are held together by HIM!

Colossians 1:15-17

15.  He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16.  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Ephesians 5:1 – Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, release the Word of Truth.  Profess the Word of God, and He will establish it!

In the Name of Jesus! Amen.

Prayer for healing

Lord God, the Father of all hope and blessing. I submit my life to you and repent of my sins, cover me with the precious blood of Christ.  Oh Lord, have mercy on me and forgive me, as I have forgiven those who have sinned against me.  I’ve chosen to show forth mercy to them… as Your word says, the merciful shall obtain mercy.  Bless me and give me the peace that goes beyond all understanding.

Father God, in the Name that is Above all names… bring healing power to my body… every organ, every tissue, every cell of my body, to function in the perfection to which You created my body to function. And in the Name of Jesus, I forbid any malfunction of my body. And to You Lord, belongs all the glory!

In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

(If you are under doctors care, add this: Subdue the doctors and nurses unto Yourself, to do what You will have them do.)

Spiritual Divas

What’s a diva?  Most would say they know all too well, and have often dealt with more than one.  Is a diva referred to as a woman only?  The answer is no.  A diva “attitude” is not partial to women only…but is found also in men, teens and children too.  YOU can be sure the children and teens have had role models to follow.  Diva parents beget diva children!

So what is a “spiritual diva”?  Yes indeed… Christians are also susceptible to having that attitude.  And what’s worse, this should not be so.  Our brother, the Apostle Paul ran into a few along the way.  And unfortunately, this problem has gotten even worse in this day and age.

Definition for diva: someone that must have their way exactly, or no way at all. often rude and belittles people, believes that everyone is beneath them and thinks that they are so much more loved than what they really are. selfish, spoiled, and overly dramatic.   – Urban Dictionary

Top definition:  a true diva will do anything to get what she or he wants.  – Urban Dictionary

A call to the Church:  Pray and repent of all wrong attitudes.  We are called to a higher calling on this earth.  And we need to be united and stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.  Jesus gave us two commandments; ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” – Luke 10:27

Now, if we behave ourselves like spiritual divas…we are breaking the two commandments Jesus gave us before He ascended into Heaven.  He said we would do greater works, because He goes to the Father.  Repent! and return to your first Love!

Thank you Jesus, for all that You have done for us!  We praise You Lord!  It’s ALL about YOU!

Voice of God’s Word

We’ve been brought out of darkness and into HIS glorious light!  God has spoken and it was done!  All the work of God has been accomplished in and through Jesus.  And Jesus fulfilled ALL the law and the prophets when HE said “It is finished” on the cross.  It is finished!  Now what?

We, the body of Christ are to do His Word.  Not only to do the two greatest commandments HE commanded us to keep…but to profess HIS Word upon this earth and into the heavenlies to advance HIS Kingdom.  Advancing His Kingdom, is to fulfill His commandments.   The first commandment, Loving God is to Love His Word.  To proclaim, profess, confess, speak, teach, prophecy, meditate, sing, shout, study, immerse one self in it!

We are the voice of God’s Word!!!

Study Psalm 103

In verse 20 we read:

Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.

So we see, the angels excel in strength when they listen to the voice of the word, and they do God’s word. The Word of God gives them strength. How do they get strength?  They heed, they hearken unto the “voice” of God’s Word.

Who is the “voice” of God’s Word??  We are church.  The body of Christ, is the VOICE!  Open up your mouths and proclaim the Word of God!  The angels are hearkening unto HIS Word to do it!

In the Name of Jesus.  Amen.

The Greatest Gift

1 Corinthians 13

The Greatest Gift

1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

4. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5. does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6. does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7. bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

AMEN!

Until that day

In the word/Bible, there’s been many examples of timed victories, breakthroughs and prophecy fulfilled. And one can literally frustrate oneself until “that time” is fulfilled. I believe God will give me supernatural strength to do what I cannot do in my own strength. And He will anoint me to be and do His will. Until “that day” I draw near to Him in prayer and in His word. Until “that day” I worship Him and trust Him, because He alone is good and faithful. And only He can subdue me unto Himself! Amen.
